Quickstep Aftermarket Services (QAS) was launched in November 2020 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Quickstep Holdings Limited. The business operates from our world-class MRO facility at Tullamarine Airport in Melbourne to deliver a total customer valued solution, by providing quality repairs with competitive pricing and a quick turnaround to support our customer’s needs.
The facility has an integrated engineering and MRO capability to service the defence and commercial aerospace markets, both in Australia and internationally. QAS offers MRO services across a wide range of composite, bonded and conventional metal aircraft structures.
QAS can call on experience working with Boeing, Airbus, Embraer and Bombardier aircraft, F/A-18 Classic and Super Hornets, C-130J Hercules and CH-47 Chinooks. QAS will leverage its existing relationships and capabilities to broaden the scope of MRO work offered to include F-35 sustainment and other defence and commercial platforms.
Approved by, but independent of any specific original equipment manufacturer (OEM), QAS can provide extensive services to defence, government and commercial aircraft operators with high quality standards, fast turnaround times and attractive pricing.
QAS holds a wide range of MRO-specific tooling, equipment and processes. These include stocks of advanced composite materials, adhesive films, bond tooling, autoclaves, clean room facilities, non-destructive testing equipment, robotics and on-wing repair capability.
