Applied Composites

Launching our newest business vertical in the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) sector was a logical step given Quickstep’s exemplary quality and delivery reputation with our global aerospace customers. AAM and Aviation Electrification are considered the 3rd revolution in aerospace, and our constant drive for delivering cutting edge manufacturing processes positions us perfectly to serve this rapidly emerging market.

Drone Center of Excellence

Our Drone Center of Excellence is located within the grounds of Deakin University, Australia’s leading Carbon Fiber and Composite Research facility. Our Engineers bring a unique balance of Aerospace and Automotive industry experience, developing manufacturing processes able to build Drone aerostructures to aerospace standards at automotive prices and rates.

Quickstep’s Advanced Air Mobility business provides Drone manufacturers with a partnership approach to production. Making the jump from prototype to higher rate manufacture of aerostructures can consume time, effort and money, often better invested in higher value IP aspects such as autonomous systems, avionics and ground systems capabilities.

Whether Quickstep Advanced Air Mobility is solving your Drone production challenges through the use of our proprietary out of autoclave CFRP curing system AeroQureTM , or by applying 20 years’ worth of global aerospace manufacturing know-how, we’re ready to become your Drone manufacturing partner.
