Quickstep steps up JSF program with Lockheed Martin

Innovative manufacturing techniques by rapidly growing Quickstep Holdings could shave millions off military budgets if its processes win the approval of major contractors.

The company, which recently won the Aerospace Australia Defence Innovation award, is already heavily involved in the $US300 billion F-35 joint strike fighter (JSF) and the C-130 Hercules aircraft programs. But the Bankstown, NSW-based company is looking to win bigger contracts with a process it says cuts the time required for the curing of composite materials.
