Quickstep Universal represents true “out of the box” thinking.

Taking advantage of low cost facesheet tooling, QS Universal permits the rapid manufacture of high volume components and lets the part manufacturer move the mould around between work stations, such as mould preparation, layup, bagging, curing and demoulding. In this scenario, using one QS20 machine, higher equipment utilisation is achieved via the cycling of multiple moulds, as shown below:

Since the mould no longer is attached to the curing chamber, full silicone bladders are present on the top and bottom halves of the curing chamber as shown in the following diagram:
