
Quickstep Original is where it all started.
In the QS Original technology, the mould is permanently in the lower curing chamber, surrounded and connected to the outer walls by a perimeter of flexible silicone rubber, which permits the mould to float (see figure above). The opposite chamber can have a semi-rigid or flexible face
For general construction and the construction of larger aerospace components, like wing skins, where moving very large moulds around is impractical. Also applies to some automotive applications.
