Technical capabilities
Within VCAMM's scientific network, there is a full range of world-class analytical, testing and simulation equipment and facilities. VCAMM can arrange access to this equipment to help design, model, characterise, test and validate, from the nano-scale upward. Material characterisation, mechanical testing, stress analysis, surface analysis and production modelling across all of the material boundaries (composites, ceramics, metals & polymers) can be performed.
Extensive research has been and continues to be conducted on the Quickstep Process on a QS5 machine installed at Deakin University under the VCAMM umbrella.
