QUICKSTEP SECURES NEW PREMISES TO FACILITATE LONG-TERM GROWTH
Quickstep head quarters is located south of Perth in North Coogee Western Australia. Since then the Company has doubled its floor area and installed some $10 million of equiment and process technology providing it with capacity to be Australia's second largest aersoapce grade composites manufacturer behind Boeings Melbourne based facility.
The new premises - which include 4,000m2 of factory space, 500m2 of office space and a total land area of 17,000m2 - will house the Company's headquarters, its Research & Development section, as well as a manufacturing facility.
The faclity includes 3 aerospace grade autoclaves, 1 Quickstep 20 plant and a 5 axis Breton NC Milling machine one of the most accurate composite milling machines in Australia. To follow you will see images of the facility taken on or before February 2009. Facility commissioning is due at the end of March 2009.

Constant temperature clean rooms and state of the art spray rooms, 3 autoclaves and a Quickstep QS 20 Plant - will be part of Quickstep facilities. |
The Quickstep plant is 45 minutes to Perth CBD and 60 minutes to the international airport.
