Quickstep™ Technologies Pty Ltd is an Australian company that owns a suite of patented processes for the inexpensive manufacture of Advanced Composite components. At Quickstep's™ headquarters in Perth, Western Australia the company undertakes both research and development and limited production of composite components. The company was founded in 2001 to commercialize the unique Quickstep Process.

The company manufactures process plants for supply under license to end customers. It also undertakes paid development work for end-users and provides tooling and technical support services to a range of customers in the aerospace and automotive markets.

Our belief is that manufacturing cost is the largest impediment to the utilisation of advanced composite components, such as those reinforced with continuous glass, carbon or aramid fibres. Hampered by high tooling costs, slow curing cycles and expensive autoclaves, advanced composites are principally limited to high-performance aerospace, racing vehicles, and pricey European supercars.

Quickstep removes these barriers, permitting the mass manufacture of advanced composites in lean cells. The result is significantly lower investment, tooling and energy costs, and in most cases a reduction in material and labour costs.
