Business Description:

Quickstep is an Australian-based public listed company (ASX:QHL) at the forefront of advanced composite manufacturing and technology transfer for the global aerospace, defence and automotive industries. 

Quickstep has significant capabilities and expertise in the production of aerospace-grade composite components using both conventional autoclave-based manufacturing and new generation out-of-autoclave production technologies, including its proprietary Quickstep Process.

The Company generates revenue from three distinct business streams: 

1. Technology transfer through the provision of the proprietary Quickstep Process equipment and solutions;

2. Manufacture of composite components, out of its Australian facilities; and

3. Conducting paid or self-funded Research & Development on new composite structures.

The Company has a fully-commissioned aerospace-grade manufacturing facility located in North Coogee, Western Australia, and Quickstep Process development sites in the United States (Dayton, Ohio) and Germany (Ottobrunn).  Quickstep is establishing a new facility at Bankstown Airport New South Wales on the site previously occupied by Boeing Aircraft.

Established:

Quickstep was founded in 2001 to commercialise the patented ‘Quickstep Process’ for composites manufacturing. The Company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2005 trading under the code QHL.
