Chief Financial Officer
Andrew Crane is a commercial and strategic finance professional with strong business acumen and over 20 years experience in manufacturing organisations. Recently, he held a number of senior finance and divisional roles at SCA Hygiene Australasia (now Asaleo Care) over 9 years before being CFO for 6 years. Andrew was then Commercial Manager and GM of Finance & Commercial at GWA.
Additionally, he has worked in a number of industries and business sectors and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of best practice to Quickstep. Andrew has a passion for continuous improvement, understands the whole value chain and influences, challenges and leads across business functions to deliver required results. CPA-qualified with majors in accounting and business law, he also has strong exposure to controls, governance and risk management of multi-national and listed businesses in Asia Pacific.
Chief Operating Officer
Kevin Boyle is a highly experienced manufacturing professional with a diverse background across many commodities who joined Quickstep Holdings in March 2016 as the Chief Operating Officer. He has 25 years of manufacturing industry experience which has seen him hold Senior General Management positions responsible for operations, engineering, product/process development, commercial management, logistical and materials management in Australia and the Asia pacific region. He played a key role in regional development across China and Korea for a large multinational Automotive company (Cooper Standard) developing multi-site capabilities, continuous improvement, restructuring and new product launch management. More recently Kevin was the Director of Manufacturing Advisory for McGrathNicol gaining valuable insight and experience across a number of different industries in Australia and the professional service sector.
Kevin holds a deep passion for manufacturing excellence and driving continuous improvement throughout organisations encompassing people, processes and business practices. He has a keen understanding of how all the elements of a manufacturing business interact and is experienced in seeing clearly what the network within a business requires to ensure growth and success through to then implementing change to achieve desired results.
Vice President - Commercial & Administration
|John Johnson is an experienced finance executive who joined Quickstep as Chief Financial Officer in 2009. Mr Johnson has held senior positions with several high-profile aerospace companies including Commercial Manager of Finance (Divisional CFO) Hawker de Havilland for The Boeing Company; Financial Controller (Divisional CFO) ASTA Components for Aerospace Technologies of Australia Ltd; and he assisted as Manager for the Defence Integrated Distribution System Project Team for BAE Systems. He has also recently held the positions of Executive General Manager Finance & Legal and Executive General Manager Corporate Service for the Port of Melbourne Corporation.|
Vice President - Operations Quickstep
|Michael (Mike) Schramko has a diverse background that includes Airbus in the UK and Hawker De Havilland and Boeing Aerostructures in the US and Australia. He has experience in operations, production, product development, engineering and program management. Most recently Michael has been the Operations Manager for the Fisherman’s Bend site of Boeing Australia.|
Executive General Manager, Human Resources
Jacque Courtney-Pitman joined Quickstep Holdings in March 2016 having previously held the role of General Manager, Corporate Services for Devine Limited. Prior to this she held senior human resources positions with large companies from diverse industries including Jones Lang LaSalle, Veolia Water, Coca Cola, Berri and Wyndham Vacation Resorts. Jacque brings over 20 years’ experience in strategic and operational human resources and business support functions and is passionate about developing and driving HR strategies across all levels of the business, to a achieve strong, performance driven and inclusive culture. Jacque holds a Masters in Business Administration, Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resources, and other post graduate studies in Career Counselling, WH&S, and Training which are complemented by other executive leadership programs from ASGM and AICD.
Vice President - Systems
Tim Olding is a mechanical engineering graduate from Swinburne University. He started work with General Motors Holden in 1989 where he held a variety of positions in the areas of engine testing design and development. This included several overseas assignments including a 2 year period in Japan working with Isuzu Motors. He was Managing Engineer for base engine hardware during the design and commissioning of the Holden 3.6 liter Alloytech V6 engine. Tim spent the last 2 years of his time at Holden heading up the Decoupled Development Group within Holden’s Advanced Vehicle Development Center. This team was predominantly focused on technologies that enhanced fuel consumption and reduce emissions including studies of hybrids and alternative fuels.
After a period acting as an independent consultant to the Automotive Industry with an emphasis on electric propulsion and alternative fuels, Tim was appointed Chief Engineer of EV Engineering, an industry funded organisation that designed and built a fleet of fully electric battery swappable Holden Commodores. This was followed by a period as Chief Engineer of advanced electric motor developer Axiflux. Tim has also developed and maintained working relationships with the University Sector both directly as a consultant to the Auto CRC. Tim is currently a sessional academic with at Swinburne University where he advises on electric vehicle design, battery technology and systems engineering issues.
Executive Director European Operations and Managing Director Quicktep GmbH - Germany
Michael Hau joined Quickstep Holdings in February 2016. Michael brings 20 years in-depth expertise in aerospace, industrial and automotive markets driven by advanced composite technologies to Quickstep.
Prior to Quickstep, he spent over 6 years with Cytec Solvay Group in Europe and the US; a global leader in composite technology and a key supplier to OEMs including Boeing, Airbus, Lockheed Martin, Jaguar Landrover, Ferrari etc. He held various commercial and technical management roles before he joined the strategic leadership team as Global Director Procurement for Cytec’s Aerospace and Industrial Materials businesses. Earlier, Michael spent more than 3 years as Materials and Process Engineering Lead at Boeing in Melbourne, where he was instrumental to the highly innovative composite manufacturing environment for the B787 Moveable Trailing Edge program. Other professional accomplishments include General Management, Technical Marketing and R&D in industrial composites and carbon fiber reinforcements. Michael is a dual German-Australian citizen and holds a Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering from Stuttgart University, Germany.
Carl de Koning
Executive General Manager, Business Development (Automotive) & External Relations
Carl de Koning joined Quickstep in 2014, initially in an advisory role and in a full-time basis in January 2016, after 35 years in automotive sector. Carl has significant business development experience and an extensive knowledge of the global and Asia-Pacific automotive sectors, having worked in both China and Thailand, between 2007 and 2013. Carl has held a number of senior management roles in Business Development, Country Management, Corporate Planning and Human Resources and previously worked for Futuris Automotive Group, a global automotive seating and interiors provider and Air International, a global automotive air conditioning systems supplier. Carl holds a Diploma of Teaching and a Bachelor of Business in Human Resources Management.
